St. Charles Yacht Club formally opened in 1990.

A friendly boating and social club: When you join St. Charles Yacht Club you become part of a small (150 families), friendly, family focused club. Our members welcome new members and work at integrating them into our club activities and events. Of course, willingness to participate helps ensure a good beginning.

Great dining and fun social events: At St. Charles Yacht Club, we take great pride in the quality if our culinary program. The first class food and beverage facility offers everything from a simple lunch to an elegant dinner. All social happenings are well attened, the membership is very active.

A wide range of interests and talents? Maybe you are interested in art and craft exhibitions, men’s lunches, women’s lunches, enrichment series, shape up programs, dock parties, tennis events or swimming pool parties. We have them all.

Cruises of all kinds! 

We run several types of cruises:
Lunch Bunch: Once a month we go by boat to a nearby restaurant for lunch. We organize it so that non boaters are welcome aboard our boats and everyone can participate. This is very popular.

Club Cruises: Each month a cruise of 2-7 nights is organized. We go to Naples, Marco Island, Key West, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, the East Coast and many other places around southern Florida. Each Program has a cruise leader who organizes the dockage, events, dinners and activities.

Commodore’s Cruise: Once each year the Commodore organizes a special cruise usually during the summer months. In recent years we have been to Istanbul and the Black Sea and the British Virgin Islands.
